Anti-NONO Antibody

Generated in rabbit, this polyclonal primary antibody from Antibodies.com targets NONO (Non-POU domain-containing octamer-binding protein), a multifunctional nuclear factor involved in RNA splicing, transcriptional regulation, the DNA damage response, and nuclear mRNA surveillance. NONO also dimerizes with SFPQ within paraspeckle ribonucleoprotein assemblies, making it a frequent subject of chromatin, RNA-binding, and genome-stability studies.

Reactivity spans human, mouse, and rat samples, and the unconjugated reagent has been validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), immunofluorescence (IF), immunoprecipitation (IP), and RNA immunoprecipitation (RIP) workflows. RIP is especially useful for capturing NONO-associated transcripts in CLIP-style experiments. The product is shipped as a 100 µl vial at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, and should be stored at -20 °C, with aliquoting recommended after first thaw to limit freeze-thaw damage.
