Anti-NOB1 Antibody

The Anti-NOB1 polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com specifically targets NOB1, a conserved zinc-ribbon endonuclease that catalyzes the final cytoplasmic cleavage of 20S pre-rRNA to yield mature 18S rRNA during small ribosomal subunit biogenesis in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Originally characterized as a binding partner of Nin1, NOB1 is an integral component of the small subunit (SSU) processome and is required for proper 40S ribosome assembly, making it a useful marker for studies of ribosome maturation and nucleolar function. Supplied as a liquid reagent in a 100 µl vial, this unconjugated IgG preparation is validated for western blot (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP) workflows, enabling researchers to monitor endogenous NOB1 expression and to pull down native pre-ribosomal complexes from yeast lysates.
