NMT1 (N-Myristoyltransferase 1) is a cytoplasmic enzyme that catalyzes the covalent attachment of myristic acid to the N-terminal glycine residue of nascent polypeptide chains, a co-translational modification central to membrane targeting, protein stability, and signal transduction in eukaryotic cells. From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent is supplied as 100 µL of unconjugated antiserum and is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human samples, supporting investigations of lipid modification, oncogenic signaling, and host-pathogen interactions where N-myristoylation plays a regulatory role. Each vial is provided for research applications, and the reagent's reactivity profile enables examination of endogenous NMT1 expression across diverse human tissues and cultured cell lines.
