Raised in rabbit against the NME2 nucleoside diphosphate kinase, this unconjugated polyclonal primary antibody from Antibodies.com supports Western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows in human, mouse, and rat sample types. NME2 (also called NM23-H2) participates in nucleotide metabolism, G-protein signaling modulation, and the transcriptional regulation of c-MYC, making it a relevant target for studies of metastasis, differentiation, and tumor biology.

Each vial contains 100 µl of a 1 mg/ml stock formulated in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, a buffer system that preserves antibody activity across standard storage conditions and tolerates freeze-thaw handling when working aliquots are prepared for single-use experiments. The polyclonal nature of the reagent increases coverage of multiple epitopes on the target protein, an advantage when examining expression shifts between tissue types or between developmental time points where post-translational modification patterns may vary.

Researchers working on metastatic mechanisms, nucleoside phosphate balance, or transcription factor cross-talk can deploy this reagent in immunoblotting of whole-cell lysates and in chromogenic or fluorescent labeling of fixed tissue sections. Because the antibody is supplied unconjugated, laboratories retain full flexibility to pair it with anti-rabbit HRP, biotin, or fluorophore-conjugated secondaries to match their preferred detection platform.
