Anti-NLRP3 Antibody

Raised in rabbit and affinity-purified, this unconjugated polyclonal IgG primary antibody from Antibodies.com binds the N-terminal pyrin domain region of NLRP3 (amino acids 1-93 of the mouse sequence, NP_665826.1), the cytoplasmic pattern-recognition receptor that nucleates the inflammasome by recruiting ASC and pro-caspase-1. Detection of this scaffold by Western blot is widely used to monitor inflammasome assembly, ASC speck formation, and downstream caspase-1-dependent maturation of IL-1β and IL-18 in models of sterile inflammation, gout, atherosclerosis, type 2 diabetes, Alzheimer's disease, and cryopyrin-associated periodic syndromes (CAPS).

The reagent is supplied as a 200 µl liquid aliquot, validated on human, mouse, and rat samples. Recommended Western blot dilution range is 1:200 to 1:2000, with immunofluorescence also reported. Store at -20 °C in working aliquots to preserve reactivity across repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
