NKp46 (also known as NCR1 or CD335) is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein that functions as the prototypical natural cytotoxicity receptor on natural killer (NK) cells. This polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com was raised in rabbit and is supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS containing 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, packaged in a 100 µl vial.
The unconjugated reagent binds the human NKp46 target and is validated for western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunofluorescence (IF) workflows in human samples. NKp46 engagement triggers NK cell activation and cytolytic activity against transformed and virus-infected cells, making this reagent useful for studies of innate immunity, tumor surveillance, and viral pathogenesis research where NK cell phenotyping and signaling analysis are required.
For short-term use, store refrigerated; for longer-term storage, freeze aliquots and limit freeze-thaw cycles to preserve antibody activity.
