Anti-NKp44 Antibody

This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets NKp44 (also known as NCR2 or CD336), a single-pass transmembrane activating receptor that is selectively upregulated on activated human natural killer (NK) cells and induced on IL-2- and IL-15-cultured NK subsets and innate lymphoid populations.

Raised in Rabbit and supplied unconjugated in a 100 µl volume, this Primary Antibodies reagent is validated for immunoblotting (WB) and ELISA workflows that resolve NK cell activation status in human samples.

Because NKp44 is one of three natural cytotoxicity receptors (NCRs) alongside NKp30 and NKp46, the antibody is widely used in immunology and tumor research to profile NK cell-mediated cytotoxicity, investigate viral ligand engagement such as influenza hemagglutinin and CMV pp65, and characterize the cytolytic phenotype of patient-derived NK cells in cancer immunotherapy studies.

In western blot applications the reagent detects the mature NKp44 glycoprotein (~44 kDa, with glycosylated species often running higher) under reducing SDS-PAGE conditions, while in ELISA it can be used as a capture or detection component when paired against the appropriate antigen.

Reactivity is limited to Human samples. For short-term use, refrigerate and protect from light; for long-term storage, aliquot the reagent and freeze at -20 °C or below to limit freeze-thaw cycles that can erode polyclonal titer.
