Anti-Niban Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody targets the Niban protein (also known as NIBAN1, FAM129A, C1orf24, GIG39, or Protein Niban 1) and is supplied at a concentration of 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µl vial. The reagent was raised against a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 912–916 (K-E-G-E-G) of human Niban, conjugated to KLH, and subsequently affinity-purified by epitope-specific chromatography to deliver an IgG polyclonal preparation in unconjugated form. The host species is rabbit and the clonality is polyclonal, making it well suited to immunodetection workflows in human samples. Validated applications on the supplier datasheet include Western blotting (WB) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), with reactivity confirmed against human Niban. The buffer formulation is phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺) at pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide as a preservative, and 50% glycerol for stability. For handling, the antibody is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted upon arrival and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity. Suitable dilution ranges commonly applied in published Western blot and immunofluorescence protocols are 1:500–1:1000 and 1:100–1:200, respectively, although optimal working concentrations should be determined empirically for each experimental system.
