Anti-NGEP Antibody

Offered through the Antibodies.com catalogue, this affinity-purified reagent is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against NGEP (also known as ANO7, TMEM16G, PCAN, IPCA-5, or D-TMP-5), a prostate-enriched transmembrane protein. The antibody is produced by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic peptide derived from the C-terminal region of human NGEP, and the resulting antiserum is purified by affinity chromatography on an epitope-specific column to yield a polyclonal preparation that specifically detects endogenous levels of NGEP protein. Supplied as a 50 µl liquid aliquot at 1 mg/mL in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide, the antibody is unconjugated and of the IgG isotype, making it suitable for use as a primary reagent in standard immunoassays. Validated applications include Western blotting (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), and the reagent has been confirmed to react with human samples. For handling, the product is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted upon arrival and stored at –20°C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
