Anti-NFkB-p65 (Ab-536) Antibody

Raised in rabbit against a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues 534–538 (F-S-S-I-A) of human NFκB-p65 (RELA, UniProt Q04206), this affinity-purified polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is supplied as a purified IgG preparation at 1.0 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, unconjugated and intended for research-grade detection of total NFκB-p65 protein (~65 kDa). The 50 µl pack size is validated for Western blot (recommended dilution 1:500–1:1000) and Immunohistochemistry (1:50–1:100), with cross-reactivity confirmed in Human, Mouse and Rat samples; the antibody was raised against the unmodified epitope surrounding Ser536 and therefore reports total p65 levels rather than phosphorylation state. Endogenous p65 is detectable by this reagent in HeLa and 293 lysates, and the isotype is rabbit IgG, purified by epitope-specific affinity chromatography. For routine bench use the antibody is stable for six months when stored at 4 °C, with long-term storage recommended at –20 °C and repeated freeze/thaw cycles to be avoided; for research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
