This rabbit polyclonal primary antibody from Antibodies.com targets the phosphorylated form of the NF-κB p65 subunit (also called RelA) at the serine 536 residue, a regulatory site whose modification enhances transactivation downstream of TNF-α, IL-1β, and LPS stimulation in inflammation and innate immunity pathways.
Supplied as 100 µL of unconjugated reagent, the antibody has been validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows, supporting studies in treated cell culture models and in formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections. Reactivity has been confirmed in human, mouse, and rat samples, enabling cross-species comparison of canonical NF-κB signaling in apoptosis and immune response research. As a polyclonal reagent, the antibody binds multiple epitopes on the target, which can strengthen signal intensity in whole-cell lysate immunoblotting and in chromogenic tissue staining.
Aliquot upon receipt, refrigerate for short-term use, and freeze remaining working aliquots for longer storage, avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve binding activity.
