A polyclonal antibody raised against NFkB-p105, available from Antibodies.com as a 100 µl volume of unconjugated rabbit antiserum. NFkB-p105 is the cytoplasmic precursor that undergoes proteasomal processing to generate p50, a DNA-binding subunit of the NF-κB transcription factor complex. This reagent supports studies of canonical NF-κB signaling in immunity, inflammation, and cellular stress responses.
Validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry, the antibody has been tested for reactivity against human, mouse, and rat samples. It is supplied unconjugated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide as preservative, at approximately pH 7.2, allowing straightforward conjugation to reporter enzymes or fluorophores for custom detection workflows. Storage at 4°C is recommended for short-term use, with aliquots held at -20°C for longer-term retention.
Polyclonal specificity broadens epitope recognition, which can be useful when probing denatured full-length p105 as well as the processed p50 fragment in cell lysates and fixed tissue sections.
