Used to detect human NFIC in research workflows, this unconjugated mouse monoclonal primary antibody is supplied in a 100 µl volume and has an IgG2b isotype. Antibodies.com lists western blot and immunocytochemistry as its applications. In western blot, the reagent can be used to examine relative NFIC protein abundance across human cell lysates or experimental conditions; in immunocytochemistry, it can support visualization of the transcription factor’s cellular distribution in fixed-cell samples.
NFIC, or nuclear factor I C, is a DNA-binding transcriptional regulator with roles in cell differentiation and tissue-specific gene expression, making the antibody relevant to studies of transcriptional control and cell phenotype. The unconjugated format provides flexibility to pair it with a compatible labeled secondary antibody selected for the chosen detection method. Sample preparation, fixation or permeabilization requirements, antibody dilution, and imaging or exposure settings should be optimized and validated for each human-cell system.
