Anti-NF2/Merlin (phospho-S518) Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against NF2/Merlin phosphorylated at Serine 518 is offered by Antibodies.com as a primary antibody reagent. The unconjugated antibody is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, and reacts with human, mouse and rat samples. It has been validated for Western blot (WB) and immunofluorescence applications, including ICC/IF.

The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human Merlin around the phosphorylation site of Serine 518, and the reagent specifically detects endogenous levels of NF2/Merlin protein only when phosphorylated at Ser518. The molecular weight of the detected band is approximately 70 kDa. The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, and the purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
