Anti-NF2 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent targets the neurofibromin-2 (NF2) tumor suppressor, also known as Merlin, Schwannomin, or SCH, and is supplied as a 50 µl liquid formulation at 1 mg/mL in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA, and 0.02% sodium azide. The antibody is of the IgG isotype and is offered in unconjugated form, having been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by epitope-specific affinity chromatography using a synthetic peptide derived from the human NF2 sequence around the non-phosphorylation site of serine 518. It is validated for use in ELISA, Western blot, immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence, and immunohistochemistry, and has been shown to detect endogenous NF2 levels in human, mouse, and rat samples. For handling, the vial is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted upon arrival and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
