Anti-NF-kB p65 Antibody

Produced as a recombinant rabbit monoclonal reagent by Antibodies.com, this primary antibody targets the NF-kB p65 subunit (also called RelA), the principal transactivation arm of the canonical NF-kB signaling complex. NF-kB p65 is a 65 kDa transcription factor that, upon pathway activation, is phosphorylated on residues including serine 536, releasing from IκB inhibitors and translocating into the nucleus to drive expression of inflammatory, anti-apoptotic, and immune-response genes.

Validated for Western blot, immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence, immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometry, the antibody recognizes p65 in samples of human, mouse, and zebrafish origin, supporting work across model organisms commonly used in inflammation, cancer, and immunology research.

The reagent is supplied as 100 µL of unconjugated antibody in a buffer containing 1× TBS (pH 7.4) with 1% BSA and 40% glycerol, plus 0.05% sodium azide as preservative.
