NEUROG3 (Neurogenin 3) is a basic helix-loop-helix transcription factor that orchestrates differentiation of pancreatic islet endocrine cells and intestinal enterendocrine progenitors, making it a central marker in studies of organogenesis, beta-cell neogenesis, and diabetes.

This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com was raised against NEUROG3 and is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human and mouse specimens. The reagent is supplied as 100 µl of polyclonal antiserum and is intended for research use only, supporting protein-level detection in cell and tissue lysates as well as spatial localization in fixed sections.

The endogenous target runs at approximately 23 kDa, allowing clear separation on standard SDS-PAGE gels. NEUROG3 is transiently expressed during embryonic pancreas and gut development, and it is also reactivated in certain adult neuroendocrine contexts, so the polyclonal format improves the likelihood of capturing the protein across these varied expression windows.

Common applications include probing fetal or neonatal pancreas, intestinal epithelium, and neural progenitor populations, and confirming knockout or inducible expression systems in mouse models of congenital diarrheal disorders or neonatal diabetes.
