Anti-NEUROG1 Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody recognises the NEUROG1 protein, a transcriptional regulator involved in the initiation of neuronal differentiation. The unconjugated reagent is reactive with Human, Mouse and Rat samples and is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications.

It was raised against recombinant full length Human NEUROG1 and, as an affinity-purified preparation, detects endogenous levels of NEUROG1 protein. The antibody is supplied at 1mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% Sodium Azide and 50% Glycerol, with a molecular weight of ~26 kDa reported for the target. Purity is reported as > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).

NEUROG1 (Neurogenin-1) activates transcription by binding to the E box (5'-CANNTG-3') and associates with chromatin at enhancer regulatory elements of key neurogenesis transcription regulators. The protein has been shown to interact with CREB-binding protein and decapentaplegic homolog 1.
