Anti-Neu Antibody

Polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets NEU1, a lysosomal sialidase (also called neuraminidase 1) that hydrolyzes terminal sialic acid residues from glycoproteins and glycolipids. Deficiency of this enzyme causes sialidosis (Mucolipidosis I), a rare autosomal recessive lysosomal storage disorder, and the protein has documented roles in lysosomal catabolism, phagocytic clearance, and immune cell signaling across mammalian tissues.

This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent is supplied as 100 µL of liquid antiserum, raised against the Neu target and validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and ELISA workflows. Reactivity is reported with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples, supporting use across orthologous tissue lysates and cell-line models relevant to lysosomal storage disease and sialic-acid biology research. Aliquot upon receipt and store at -20 °C in working volumes to limit freeze-thaw cycles; short-term handling at 4 °C is acceptable for active use.
