Anti-Neu Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets the Neu receptor, also known as HER2 or ERBB2, a 185 kDa transmembrane receptor tyrosine kinase of the EGFR family that drives proliferative and survival signaling in epithelial tissues. Raised in rabbit and supplied as an unconjugated reagent, it is validated across three independent workflows: western blot detection of endogenous HER2/neu from cell lysates, immunohistochemistry on fixed tissue sections, and ELISA-based quantification of soluble antigen.

Reactivity is reported against human, mouse, and rat samples, which makes this reagent useful for translational breast cancer research, gastric cancer studies, and preclinical rodent models of HER2-amplified tumors. The polyclonal format recognizes multiple epitopes on the Neu target, an advantage when probing formalin-fixed tissue or screening for variants that diverge at individual residues.
