Netrin-1 (NTN1) is a secreted ~67 kDa laminin-related guidance cue that directs axon migration during neural development and acts as a dependence-receptor ligand in epithelial tissues, and this unconjugated Rabbit polyclonal antiserum from Antibodies.com enables detection of endogenous NTN1 in Human, Mouse, and Rat samples.
Supplied as 100 µl of polyclonal reagent, the antibody is validated for Western blot (WB) and ELISA workflows. Netrin-1 signals bifunctionally through DCC and UNC5 receptor families, attracting some axons while repelling others, and its overexpression has been linked to tumor survival signaling in several cancer models, including colorectal cancer, where NTN1 blockade is an active area of translational research. Investigators studying neuronal pathfinding, dependence-receptor apoptosis, or tumor-microenvironment signaling use this reagent to probe NTN1 levels in tissue lysates and conditioned media. Store refrigerated and protect from repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve titer and reactivity across downstream immunoblotting and plate-based detection assays.
