Anti-Nestin Antibody

The Antibodies.com Anti-Nestin polyclonal antibody is raised in rabbit and validated for western blot (WB), immunocytochemistry (ICC), and immunohistochemistry (IHC) on mouse and rat samples. Nestin is a class VI intermediate filament protein expressed in neural progenitor cells, radial glia, and various stem and progenitor populations during development and tissue regeneration, where it is commonly used as a marker of undifferentiated neural cells and glioblastoma stem-like cells. The antibody is supplied as a liquid IgG preparation, unconjugated, at 100 µg per vial, and is recommended for studies of neurogenesis, brain development, spinal cord injury models, and tumor stem cell biology. For best results, store aliquots frozen and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve activity.
