Anti-Nestin Antibody [4D11]

From Antibodies.com comes a mouse monoclonal [4D11] antibody raised against Nestin, supplied as a liquid preparation. The clone is of the IgG1 isotype and is unconjugated. It is reactive with Human, Rat and Mouse samples and has been validated for Western blot (WB), immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) and immunohistochemistry (IHC).

The immunogen is a recombinant construct corresponding to amino acids 317–630 of human Nestin, expressed in and purified from E. coli. The antibody is supplied at 1 mg/ml in Phosphate Buffered Saline containing 50% glycerol and 5 mM sodium azide, and is purified by immunogen affinity chromatography. By SDS-PAGE the target migrates at approximately 240 kDa. Recommended dilutions are WB at 1:500 and ICC/IF at 1:500. The product is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at –20°C upon delivery, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
