The polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit against human NEK7 (NIMA-related kinase 7), a serine/threonine kinase of approximately 34 kDa that bridges mitotic spindle assembly with innate immune signalling. Through direct binding to the leucine-rich repeat domain of NLRP3, the target of this reagent drives inflammasome assembly, caspase-1 activation, and IL-1β / IL-18 maturation, making it a focal point in research on gout, atherosclerosis, type 2 diabetes, and inflammasome-driven tumour microenvironments.
