NEK4 (NIMA-related kinase 4) is a serine/threonine kinase implicated in primary cilia assembly, cell cycle progression, and the cellular response to DNA damage, where it has been studied alongside other NEK family members in the context of ciliopathies, centrosome duplication, and mitotic entry. This rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised against the human NEK4 protein and validated for western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows, supporting labs that investigate kinase signaling, ciliary biology, and tumor biology in human cell lines and tissue sections.

The antibody is supplied as an unconjugated 100 µl aliquot of rabbit serum, intended for research use only and recommended for storage at -20 °C in working aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles. It performs cleanly on western blot under standard reducing conditions and has been used on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded sections for IHC, allowing researchers to localize endogenous NEK4 expression in patient-derived tumor samples, normal epithelium, and primary cultures.

Reactivity is reported for human antigen, with no cross-reactivity data supplied for mouse, rat, or other species. The polyclonal format provides recognition of multiple epitopes across the NEK4 sequence, which can be advantageous when probing truncated splice variants or post-translationally modified forms of the kinase that monoclonal reagents may miss.
