Anti-NEFL Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody targeting NEFL, offered by Antibodies.com within their primary antibody range. The reagent is supplied unconjugated in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2 and a concentration of 1 mg/ml.

Validated for use in Western blotting (WB), the antibody is reactive against human, mouse, and rat samples. NEFL, also referred to as Neurofilament-L, neurofilament light polypeptide, or NF-L, is a member of the intermediate filament family and a major constituent of neuronal cytoskeletons. Neurofilaments are dynamic structures featuring phosphorylation sites for numerous protein kinases, including protein kinase A, protein kinase C, cyclin-dependent kinase 5, extracellular signal regulated kinase, glycogen synthase kinase-3, and stress-activated protein kinase gamma. Beyond regulating axon caliber, neurofilaments may also interact with other cytoskeletal elements such as microtubules and actin filaments.
