Anti-NEFH Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against neurofilament heavy polypeptide (NEFH), supplied as an unconjugated IgG preparation. The reagent is validated for western blot (WB), immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) and immunoprecipitation (IP), and reactivity has been confirmed against human, mouse and rat samples.

The antibody was raised against a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 873–1020 of human Neurofilament H. It is affinity purified and provided as a liquid formulated in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% Thiomersal. The reported molecular weight of the target is 150 kDa / 220 kDa. Recommended starting dilutions are 1:500–1:1,000 for WB, 1:50–1:200 for ICC/IF, and 1:500–1:1,000 for IP.

The product is shipped at 4°C; on arrival it should be aliquoted and stored at −20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided. The concentration is described as lot specific.
