Anti-NEDD8 Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com specifically recognizes NEDD8, a ubiquitin-like modifier that is covalently conjugated to substrate proteins through the process known as neddylation. Supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated antisera, the antibody is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) on human samples, and it reacts with both the immature pro-NEDD8 precursor and the mature, glycine-exposed form that is ligated onto cullin scaffolds and other cellular targets. Because Cullin-RING ligase activity, cell cycle progression, DNA damage response, and signal transduction are all regulated by NAE-dependent neddylation, this reagent supports studies of post-translational modification in cell lysates and fixed tissue sections, including work on small-molecule inhibitors of the NEDD8-activating enzyme.
