The Anti-Necdin Antibody from Antibodies.com is a rabbit polyclonal reagent directed against the Necdin (NDN) protein, a MAGE-family member expressed predominantly in post-mitotic neurons. Necdin contributes to cell cycle exit during neuronal differentiation, modulates p53 activity, and supports mitochondrial biogenesis in brown adipose tissue; the NDN gene maps within the 15q11-q13 region implicated in Prader-Willi syndrome.

This unconjugated IgG preparation is supplied as a 100 µg liquid aliquot in a vial and has been validated for western blot, immunoprecipitation (IP), immunocytochemistry (ICC), frozen-section immunohistochemistry (IHC-F), and chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) assays. Cross-reactivity spans mouse, rat, human, and chicken samples, supporting comparative neuroscience and developmental biology studies.
