Anti-NECAB3 Antibody

Targets the N-terminal EF-hand calcium-binding protein NECAB3, a neuronal calcium sensor expressed predominantly in the central nervous system where it participates in calcium-dependent signaling and forms protein-protein interactions with partners such as the adenosine A2A receptor and members of the neurexin family. The reagent is a polyclonal antibody raised in rabbit and supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated antiserum in a vial format, leaving secondary antibody choice, fluorophore, or enzyme label entirely to the end user.

Validated reactivity covers both Human and Mouse, which makes the reagent useful for translational workflows that move between human cell lines or tissue and rodent model samples. Common applications include Western Blot (WB) for confirming expected band sizes and Immunofluorescence (IF) for mapping subcellular distribution of the target in neurons and other expressing cell types. For handling, store at -20 °C in working aliquots, minimize freeze-thaw cycles, and protect from light to preserve activity across multiple experiments.
