This rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody recognizes NDUFV3, a nuclear-encoded subunit of mitochondrial NADH:ubiquinone oxidoreductase (Complex I) that contributes to the iron-sulfur protein fraction of the peripheral matrix arm. Supplied by Antibodies.com as a 50 µl vial of unconjugated antiserum, the reagent is validated for Western blot detection of the human protein in enriched mitochondrial fractions and whole-cell lysates from cultured mammalian cell lines and primary tissue. Because the reagent is polyclonal, it binds multiple epitopes across the NDUFV3 polypeptide, supporting reproducible band patterns across denaturing SDS-PAGE separations.

Host species is rabbit and the isotype is IgG. The unconjugated format lets end users pair the primary antibody with HRP-, fluorophore-, or biotin-labeled secondary reagents of their own choosing. Recommended handling includes aliquoting on first thaw and limiting repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve polyclonal titer over months of routine use. The reagent is suited to studies of oxidative phosphorylation, mitochondrial respiratory chain biogenesis, and nuclear-encoded mitochondrial subunit expression, including expression profiling, Complex I assembly characterization, and analysis of cell models carrying respiratory chain defects.

Reactivity has been established against human NDUFV3; cross-reactivity with other species has not been formally characterized. The unconjugated format remains compatible with chromogenic Western blot using standard ECL substrates, fluorescent Western blot on gel imaging systems, and immunoprecipitation workflows, supporting flexibility in detection chemistry from a single vial.
