This rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody from Antibodies.com targets human NDUFV3, the NADH:ubiquinone oxidoreductase core subunit V3 that anchors the flavoprotein fraction of mitochondrial respiratory chain Complex I. Supplied as an unconjugated 200 µl liquid aliquot, it is validated for Western blot (WB) detection of the target on human samples.

NDUFV3 sits on the matrix-facing side of the inner mitochondrial membrane, where it contributes to NADH oxidation at the entry point of the electron transport chain. Loss or dysfunction of this subunit has been linked in published studies to complex I deficiency and to mitochondrial disorders affecting oxidative phosphorylation. Researchers investigating mitochondrial biogenesis, OXPHOS complex assembly, or disease-associated changes in complex I subunit composition commonly use anti-NDUFV3 polyclonal antibodies to compare expression levels across cell lines and patient-derived samples.

The rabbit host and polyclonal format give broader epitope coverage than a monoclonal reagent, which is useful when probing low-abundance mitochondrial proteins or denatured lysates prepared for SDS-PAGE. Because the conjugate is unconjugated, the antibody is compatible with standard HRP- or fluorophore-labeled secondary detection chemistries, allowing the same lot to feed into chemiluminescent WB imaging and other downstream readouts.
