NDUFS7 (PSST subunit) is the 20 kDa core subunit of mitochondrial respiratory Complex I (NADH:ubiquinone oxidoreductase) that anchors the iron-sulfur cluster transferring electrons to ubiquinone during oxidative phosphorylation. This rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com is supplied unconjugated in a 50 µl vial and validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence detection across human, mouse, and rat samples. Prepared by antigen affinity purification against a synthetic immunizing peptide drawn from the human NDUFS7 sequence, the antibody binds multiple epitopes on the target, supporting reliable detection on denatured western blot membranes as well as on aldehyde-fixed tissue sections.

The unconjugated format leaves laboratories free to conjugate HRP, a fluorophore, or any other reporter of their choosing. Researchers working on mitochondrial bioenergetics, electron transport chain assembly, and Complex I deficiency disorders such as Leigh syndrome (MT-C1D) and MC1DN3 use this reagent to assess steady-state subunit levels in cell lysates, isolated mitochondria, and tissue preparations. The polyclonal profile yields broad epitope coverage suited to reducing western blot conditions and fixed IHC workflows, and the 50 µl volume provides enough material for typical small-batch studies and antibody titrations.
