NDUFS7 (NADH dehydrogenase [ubiquinone] iron-sulfur protein 7, mitochondrial) sits at the catalytic core of mitochondrial respiratory Complex I, where its iron-sulfur clusters shuttle electrons from NADH to ubiquinone and contribute to proton translocation across the inner mitochondrial membrane. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com detects the PSST subunit in human, mouse, and rat samples for western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows.

The antibody resolves the target near its observed 20 kDa band on western blot and produces cytoplasmic granular staining consistent with mitochondrial localization in fixed cells and paraffin sections. Researchers investigating Complex I assembly, oxidative phosphorylation defects, and Leigh syndrome–associated mitochondrial disease use NDUFS7 detection to assess steady-state subunit levels, monitor biogenesis after metabolic or pharmacological perturbation, and validate CRISPR or siRNA knockdown efficiency in cell models.

Supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated antiserum. Aliquot upon arrival and store at -20°C to preserve antibody activity across multiple freeze-thaw cycles; avoid prolonged exposure to light. Each lot is validated for use on cultured mammalian cells and tissue sections, with typical western blot working concentrations in the 1-3 µg/mL range that should be titrated empirically for each application.
