Raised in rabbit against a synthetic peptide surrounding Glu134 of the human NDUFB9 subunit of mitochondrial Complex I, this polyclonal IgG antiserum is affinity-purified and supplied as a ready-to-use liquid by Antibodies.com. Each vial contains 50 µL of the unconjugated antibody formulated at approximately 1 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS, pH ~7.2) containing 0.05% sodium azide as a preservative, and the reagent is intended for research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic applications. The host species is rabbit and the clonality is polyclonal, with reactivity validated against human samples and a recommended storage regime of 2–8 °C for short-term use or –20 °C for longer-term aliquots to minimise freeze-thaw cycles. Validated applications cover Western blotting (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC), making the reagent suitable for detecting the ~22 kDa NDUFB9 protein in cell lysates and in fixed tissue sections. Typical working dilutions reported for comparable formats are approximately 1:500–1:1000 for WB, which can be titrated according to antigen abundance and detection system. NDUFB9 (NADH dehydrogenase [ubiquinone] 1 beta subcomplex subunit 9, also known as LYRM3) is a ubiquitously expressed accessory subunit of the respiratory chain Complex I, and detection of this target is relevant to studies of mitochondrial bioenergetics, oxidative phosphorylation and disorders associated with Complex I deficiency. As supplied by Antibodies.com through its authorised regional partner AFMS (Abdulla Fouad for Medical Supplies & Services), the antibody is shipped with the standard product documentation required to support routine immunodetection workflows in the laboratory.
