Anti-NDUFA8 Antibody

Sourced from Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent targets the NDUFA8 accessory subunit of the mitochondrial respiratory chain Complex I (NADH-ubiquinone oxidoreductase 1 alpha subcomplex subunit 8, also known by its aliases CI-19kD, CI-PGIV, Complex I-19kD and Complex I-PGIV). The antibody is supplied as a 50 µl liquid aliquot at a concentration of 1 mg/mL, formulated in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide. It is unconjugated and has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by epitope-specific affinity chromatography, using a synthesized peptide derived from the internal region of human NDUFA8 as the immunogen. Validated applications include Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and ELISA, with reactivity confirmed against Human and Mouse samples; the polyclonal reagent detects endogenous levels of total NDUFA8 protein. The product is shipped at 4°C, and on arrival it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C for long-term use, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
