NDUFA8 Subunit Detection for Mitochondrial Complex I Research

NDUFA8 (gene ID 4702) is a small (~19 kDa) accessory subunit of NADH:ubiquinone oxidoreductase, more commonly known as mitochondrial respiratory Complex I. Embedded at the inner mitochondrial membrane, NDUFA8 contributes to electron transfer and proton translocation, and its expression is frequently tracked in studies of oxidative phosphorylation, mitochondrial biogenesis, and disease models involving Complex I dysfunction.

This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com is supplied as a 50 µl liquid aliquot and binds multiple epitopes on NDUFA8, supporting robust detection in whole-cell lysates and in mitochondrial-enriched fractions prepared by differential centrifugation.

Validated for Western blot (WB) on Human, Mouse, and Rat samples, the reagent enables studies of endogenous NDUFA8 expression across tissues and cultured cell lines. Storage guidance: keep refrigerated at 4 °C for active use; for longer storage, freeze working aliquots at −20 °C and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve antibody activity.

Host: Rabbit. Clonality: Polyclonal. Isotype: IgG. Conjugate: Unconjugated. Applications: WB. Reactivity: Human, Mouse, Rat. Target: NDUFA8.
