Raised in rabbit against NDUFA1, the NADH:ubiquinone oxidoreductase subunit A1 of mitochondrial Complex I, this polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is supplied as an unconjugated 100 µl vial at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.3. It is validated for Western blot detection of endogenous NDUFA1 in human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting work in mitochondrial biogenesis, oxidative phosphorylation, and electron transport chain research.

NDUFA1, also known as MWFE, is a small accessory subunit required for proper Complex I assembly and stability, and changes in its expression are studied in the context of Leigh syndrome, mitochondrial disease, and metabolic dysfunction. The polyclonal format provides broad epitope coverage, which is helpful when probing whole-cell or mitochondrial-enriched lysates where the target may be of low abundance. Researchers using this reagent can examine steady-state protein levels across cell lines and primary tissue, compare normal versus disease-associated samples, and probe the effects of genetic or pharmacologic perturbation on Complex I subunit composition.

Store refrigerated at 4 °C; avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles by aliquoting on first use. The 100 µl vial format supports multiple blotting experiments.
