NDRG4, the protein product of N-Myc downstream-regulated gene 4, is a cytoplasmic and membrane-associated member of the NDRG family most highly expressed in brain tissue. It has been investigated for roles in neuronal differentiation, cellular stress responses, and as a candidate tumor suppressor in gastrointestinal epithelium, making it a target of interest for both neuroscience and oncology laboratories.

This rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is supplied at 100 µL and was raised against recombinant human NDRG4. It is unconjugated, allowing researchers to pair it with their own secondary detection reagents, and is recommended for Western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows on human, mouse, and rat samples. The polyclonal format increases the chance of recognising multiple epitopes across isoforms and species, which is useful when probing heterogeneous tissue sections from translational studies.

Western blot users typically resolve NDRG4 in the 38–40 kDa range depending on isoform and species, while immunohistochemistry on brain and epithelial sections has been used to map developmental and regional expression patterns.
