Generated in rabbit, this unconjugated polyclonal antibody recognizes NDRG2 (N-Myc Downstream Regulated Gene 2), a stress-responsive member of the NDRG family linked to cell differentiation, hypoxia responses, and tumor suppressor pathways. Distributed by Antibodies.com as a primary antibody reagent, the preparation is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.3, packaged as a 100 µl vial.

Validated for Western Blot detection in human, mouse, and rat samples, the antibody enables comparison of endogenous NDRG2 expression across commonly studied mammalian systems. Because the reagent is polyclonal, it binds multiple epitopes on the target protein, which is broadly expressed in brain, heart, and skeletal muscle and has been investigated in studies of glucocorticoid signaling, neural differentiation, and cancer biology.

For best results, aliquot the antibody upon first use and store frozen at -20°C; repeated freeze-thaw cycles should be avoided to preserve binding activity. Defrosted aliquots may be kept briefly at refrigerated temperatures when sodium azide is present to inhibit microbial growth. This reagent is intended for research use only and is not approved for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes.
