NDRG1 (N-myc downstream regulated gene 1), a 43 kDa cytoplasmic protein central to cellular stress response, differentiation, and hypoxia signaling, is targeted by this rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com. Validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence, it cross-reacts with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples, supporting translational studies across standard mammalian model systems. The reagent is supplied unconjugated at 1 mg/ml in PBS containing 0.1% Sodium Azide and 50% glycerol.

NDRG1 also participates in iron homeostasis and p53-mediated apoptosis, and germline NDRG1 mutations cause Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease type 4D (hereditary motor and sensory neuropathy-Lom). Laboratories investigating epithelial-mesenchymal transition, tumor hypoxia, or androgen-regulated growth rely on this primary antibody to monitor NDRG1 expression in prostate, breast, colon, and pancreatic cancer models. The 50 µl vial, at defined concentration, is well suited to both pilot screening and extended multi-panel experiments.

Aliquot on receipt and store at -20°C to preserve glycerol-stabilized activity; avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles and protect from light during handling. As a polyclonal reagent, it binds multiple epitopes on NDRG1, helping retain signal where point mutations, splice variants, or post-translational modifications might otherwise compromise monoclonal recognition.
