Anti-NDP Antibody

Offered through Antibodies.com as a primary antibody for research use, this rabbit polyclonal reagent targets the NDP protein, also known by the synonyms Norrin, Norrie disease protein, EVR2, and X-linked exudative vitreoretinopathy 2 protein. The 50 µL vial is supplied at a concentration of 1.0 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotective stabiliser; the antibody is unconjugated and of the IgG isotype, with clonality confirmed as polyclonal. It was raised in rabbit against a recombinant human NDP immunogen and purified by affinity chromatography on the immunogen, and it specifically detects endogenous levels of total NDP protein. The reagent is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications and is reactive with human, mouse, and rat samples, making it suitable for cross-species studies of retinal angiogenesis and Norrie disease models. For logistics, the product is shipped on cold packs at 4 °C; upon arrival it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, and repeated freeze/thaw cycles should be avoided to preserve antibody activity.
