Anti-NDP Antibody

Targeting the Norrie disease protein (Norrin, NDP), this rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated antisera in a single-use vial and is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows on human, mouse, and rat samples.

The NDP gene on the X chromosome encodes a secreted cystine-knot growth factor involved in Wnt/β-catenin signalling, retinal vasculature development, and cochlear hair cell differentiation. Loss-of-function variants are linked to Norrie disease, familial exudative vitreoretinopathy (FEVR), and retinopathy of prematurity, so detection of endogenous Norrin supports research into ocular angiogenesis, vascular barrier biology, and rare inherited retinopathies.
