Anti-ND5 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this research-grade reagent is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against ND5 (NADH-ubiquinone oxidoreductase chain 5), a subunit of mitochondrial complex I encoded by MT-ND5. The antibody was generated by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic peptide derived from the internal region of the human ND5 protein, and it has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, ensuring selective detection of endogenous ND5 levels. It is supplied as a 50 µl liquid formulation at 1 mg/mL in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide as a preservative, and it is provided in an unconjugated format suitable for standard immunoassays. Validated applications include Western blot (WB) and ELISA, and the reagent is reactive with human samples. For routine handling, the vial is shipped at 4 °C; upon receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve antibody integrity.
