Anti-NCS1 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against the neuronal calcium sensor protein NCS1 (also known as Frequenin homolog or NCS-1) and is intended for the detection of endogenous total NCS1 in research samples. The antibody is generated by immunising rabbits with a recombinant human NCS1 protein and is subsequently purified by affinity chromatography against the immunogen, yielding an unconjugated, IgG-class polyclonal preparation supplied at a concentration of 1.0 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant. The 50 µL vial is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted upon arrival for long-term storage at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity. The reagent is validated for Western blotting and is reactive with human, mouse and rat samples, making it suitable for cross-species studies of NCS1 expression in neuronal and non-neuronal tissues.
