Anti-NCOA4 Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against Nuclear Receptor Coactivator 4 (NCOA4), a multifunctional protein best known for its role as a selective cargo receptor in ferritinophagy, the autophagic pathway that delivers ferritin to lysosomes and releases free iron into the cytosol. NCOA4 also acts as a transcriptional coactivator for nuclear receptors, originally described as ARA70 in androgen receptor signaling, and it has been studied in prostate cancer, ferroptosis, and cellular iron homeostasis research.

Provided as an unconjugated IgG in a 200 µl vial, the antibody is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) on human, mouse, and rat samples. Each lot is affinity-purified from rabbit serum and is used in standard immunodetection workflows as well as immunoprecipitation of endogenous NCOA4 complexes.
