Anti-NCK2 Antibody

Generated in rabbit as an unconjugated polyclonal IgG preparation, this primary antibody targets NCK2 (NCK adaptor protein 2), a 43 kDa cytoplasmic adaptor also called GRB4, growth factor receptor-bound protein 4, or Nck-beta. The reagent from Antibodies.com is supplied as 200 µl of polyclonal serum and recognizes the SH2/SH3 domain-containing adaptor in human, mouse, and rat samples.

The immunogen corresponds to amino acids 1–380 of the human NCK2 sequence (NP_003572.2), enabling detection of conserved regions of the protein involved in linking activated receptor tyrosine kinases to downstream cytoskeletal effectors. Validated for western blot and immunohistochemistry, the antibody supports studies of PDGF receptor-β signaling (Tyr-1009 binding site), EGF receptor coupling, ephrin receptor pathways, and actin remodeling at the immunological synapse, where NCK2 cooperates with WIP, WASp, and PAK family kinases to drive Arp2/3-mediated actin polymerization in T cells.

For western blot, working dilutions range from 1:500 to 1:2,000; for IHC on paraffin sections, 1:50 to 1:200 produces specific chromogenic or fluorescent labeling. Store the vial at -20°C in single-use aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles and protect from light. Research use only.
