Targeting NCF2 (also called p67phox), the cytosolic organizer subunit of the phagocyte NADPH oxidase, this rabbit polyclonal reagent supports work on oxidative burst biology and the molecular basis of chronic granulomatous disease (CGD). NCF2 stabilizes the oxidase complex at the phagosomal membrane and is required for superoxide generation that neutrophils and other phagocytes use to clear invading microorganisms; loss-of-function variants in NCF2 are a recognized genetic cause of autosomal recessive CGD.

Manufactured by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated polyclonal, the antibody is validated across Western blot, immunohistochemistry, immunocytochemistry, immunofluorescence, and immunoprecipitation workflows on human, mouse, and rat samples. It is supplied as a 100 µl liquid aliquot at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol added as a cryoprotectant.

Recommended handling is to store the vial at -20 °C in working aliquots and to limit repeated freeze-thaw cycles of the thawed material. Researchers studying neutrophil function, innate immune signaling, ROS-dependent cell signaling, or CGD-linked genetic variation can use it to detect endogenous NCF2 in whole-cell lysates, fixed tissue sections, and isolated leukocyte preparations. The polyclonal format offers broader epitope coverage than a monoclonal, which is helpful when probing protein-protein interactions within the assembled oxidase complex or when comparing variant expression in patient-derived samples.
