Anti-NCF1 Antibody

Raised in rabbit and purified by affinity chromatography against the immunogen, this polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets NCF1 (also known as p47phox, NOXO2, or SH3PXD1A), the 47 kDa cytosolic organizer subunit of the NADPH oxidase complex. The reagent is supplied as an unconjugated antiserum at 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µl aliquot, formulated in phosphate-buffered saline at pH 7.4 (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺) with 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant. It was generated against a recombinant human NCF1 protein and, according to the manufacturer, recognizes the endogenous total NCF1 protein in samples from human, mouse, and rat origin. Recommended applications on the supplier datasheet are Western blot (WB) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF); the antibody has not been validated by Antibodies.com for IHC. For handling, the vial is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted into working volumes and stored long-term at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve binding activity.
