Produced as an unconjugated rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent, this Antibodies.com antibody targets Neurocan (NCAN), a chondroitin sulfate proteoglycan concentrated in the central nervous system and a defining component of the perineuronal net. Validated for western blot and immunohistochemistry, the antibody cross-reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples, making it useful for studies of neural development, axon guidance, glial scar formation, and extracellular matrix remodelling that follows CNS injury.
